Apple Crumble (GF & DF)
Ingredients
6x Apples
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Honey
1 tsp Cinnamon
3/4 cup Almond Meal
1/4 cup Flaked Almonds
1/4 cup Macadamias
4 tbsp Dairy free Butter (@thevegandairy ) If not dairy free use regular butter
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tbsp Rapdurra sugar
Coconut yoghurt to serve
Method
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
Peel the apples and chop them into small cubes
Heat a saucepan to medium heat.
Add apples, lemon, honey and cinnamon and cook for 5 minutes until softened. Place to the side.
In a bowl combine almond meal, almonds, chopped macadmias, cinnamon, sugar and melted butter.
In a small oven proof dish pour apple mixture in and top evenly with the crumble.
Place in the oven for approx. Bake for 20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
