Choc Date Boats
Ingredients
6x Medjool Dates
6 tsp Almond Butter
50g 70% Dark Chocolate
1 tbsp Chia seeds or hemp seeds
Method
Carefully open up the dates and remove the pip.
Place 1 tsp of nut butter into the middle of each date.
Break the chocolate into 6 pieces and place into the nut butter.
Sprinkle over the top with chia seeds.
Place in the fridge for 1 hour to set.

Dates
They are a high source of fiber as well as B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, iron, zinc, and folic acid. Dates contain a high amount of natural sugar however by having with almond butter reduces the glucose spike.
Chia Seeds
High in omega-3s supporting a reduction in inflammation and fiber which helps keep our bowels regular removing toxins from the body.
Almond Butter
Full of healthy fats and protein! Almonds also contain potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, and vitamin E.
Dark Chocolate
It contains magnesium which has calming effects on the body! It also contains polyphenols that have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.
