Seedy Choc Granola Bars

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups Rolled Oats
1/2 cup Pepitas
1/2 cup Almonds
1/4 cup Sunflower Seeds
1 tsp Salt
2 tbsp Chia Seeds
1/2 cup Honey
3 tbsp Almond Butter
100g (Block) 70% Dark Chocolate (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Chop pepitas, almonds, and sunflower seeds into small chunks.

  3. Add them to a large bowl with the oats, chia seeds, and salt.

  4. In a small saucepan, heat almond butter and honey on low until they are combined.

  5. Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients and mix to combine.

  6. Line a brownie tin with baking paper.

  7. Pour the mixture into the tin and press down very firmly.

  8. Place it in the oven for around 15 minutes, until the top is browned.

  9. Let the slice cool completely.

  10. Melt the dark chocolate in a small bowl over a saucepan of water (or microwave if you’re rushed for time).

  11. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars and let it set.
