Herb Sauce

Herby Green Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1x large bunch of parsley

  • 1 Tbsp of apple cider vinegar

  • 3x garlic gloves

  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil 

  • Salt + pepper

Method

  1. Add half the parsley in a small blender with apple cider vinegar, garlic, salt + pepper. Blend!

  2. Slowly add the olive oil in at intervals.

  3. Add more parsley to the blender when there is room, adding more olive oil.

  4. Continue blending and adding olive oil until it becomes a texture you like! 

  5. Always taste test as you go.

  6. Add to all your meats, salads, eggs, pasta even use it as a dip!

Parsley

High in vitamin C, folate, iron, magnesium, calcium, sodium, potassium and supports liver function and can support indigestion, constipation and gas!


Apple Cider Vinegar

Is a bitter food that can support digestive secretions and can also prevent glucose spikes, supporting healthy glucose levels.


Garlic

Is a prebiotic; prebiotics are non-digestible carbohydrates that feed our microbes! Garlic contains organosulphur compounds which act as antioxidants to scavenge  reactive oxygen species! It also has anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial properties.


Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Has been shown to reduce body weight, decrease hypertension, reduce blood pressure, maintain endothelial function and modulate gene expression. As well as have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects on the body.
