Green Pea & Chickpea Falafels
Ingredients
1x cup dried chickpeas
1x cup frozen peas
1/2 red onion
4x garlic cloves
2 tbsp flour
2 tsp cumin
1 tsp baking powder
1x small bunch parsley
1/2 red onion
3/4 cup sesame seeds
Salt + pepper
Olive oil
Method
Soak chickpeas overnight
Add half chickpeas, parsley, flour, garlic, baking powder, onion, salt + pepper to a food processor and blend
Add the remaining chickpeas and peas
Blend until desired texture
Place in the fridge for 30 minutes
Roll into balls and cover with sesame seeds (should make around 12)
Fry each side in olive oil over medium heat, until each side is golden.
