Raw Caramel Slice

Ingredients

Base

  • 1 1/2 cups Almond Meal
  • 1/2 cup Coconut Flour
  • 4 Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 4 Tbsp Maple Syrup

Caramel Layer

  • 1 1/2 cups Medjool Dates
  • 3 Tbsp Rice Malt Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Almond butter
  • Pinch of Salt

Top

  • 100g 70% Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Tbsp Coconut Oil

 

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line a brownie tin with baking paper.
  2. Combine base ingredients together in a food processor.
  3. Press firmly into tray.
  4. Bake for 10-15mins until golden.
  5. Place caramel layer ingredients into a blender until combined.
  6. Spread over the base evenly the place in the fridge for 1 hour.
  7. Melt coconut oil and chocolate in a sauce pan then
  8. Drizzle over the top.
  9. Place in the fridge until set.
