
Green Pea & Chickpea Falafels

Ingredients
- 1x cup dried chickpeas
- 1x cup frozen peas
- 1/2 red onion
- 4x garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1x small bunch parsley
- 1/2 red onion
- 3/4 cup sesame seeds
- Salt + pepper
- Olive oil
Method
- Soak chickpeas overnight
- Add half chickpeas, parsley, flour, garlic, baking powder, onion, salt + pepper to a food processor and blend
- Add the remaining chickpeas and peas
- Blend until desired texture
- Place in the fridge for 30 minutes
- Roll into balls and cover with sesame seeds (should make around 12)
- Fry each side in olive oil over medium heat, until each side is golden.
